The world has become a quieter place with Budd's passing. You see Budd was known to tell a story or two, some of them even based on facts.
He was born in Elk Point, Alberta to Mabel & Erik Norgren.
He started out in construction at the ripe old age of 7 helping his dad built their homestead. He was a Railroad man, an Oil Industry salesman, a Nursing Home Operator, a Shingle Mill Packer and Sawyer, an inventor and lastly a caregiver to his mother before entering into retirement.
He enjoyed a full retirement: curling, spending time tinkering and making "stuff", emailing all people brave enough to give him their email address and traveling the world with Rie.
He is predeceased by many & outlived anyone in his family by at least 7 years. His beloved sister Lyla, Mother Mabel, Wife Dorothy, long-time partner Rie and his cat Coo-Chi-Coo II, his father Erik, Son Barry, Brothers Bruce and Arvine.
But he leaves many behind to carry on; not like he carried on, but carry on his legacy of life: sons Robbin (Cora), Marty (Corrine), Daughters Barb (Tim), Deanne (Jamie) and daughter in law Sandra. Grandchildren Cory, Terry, Stacy, Kristy, Andrea, Melysa, Jeffrey, Kim, Heather, Laura, Lindsay and Cameron.
Great Grandchildren Caleb, Ayva, Hailey, Aiden, Ryker, Nate, Jordan, Heidi, Luka and Finley.
He leaves us with one final Buddhism, "Knuckles son, it's flu season."
We want to thank all the staff at Carelife Fleetwood (Pine House) for their absolutely wonderful care and kindness shown to Budd and his family.

IN LIEU OF ANY GIFTS, FLOWERS, ETC., PLEASE MAKE A DONATION TO YOUR LOCAL CANCER FIGHTING AGENCY OR ORGANIZATION.
THERE IS NO PUBLIC SERVICE.
