<div itemprop="description">Epaarachchi, Christine Lucille Carmentina (Dawn) <br />It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Dawn on Tuesday March 29th, 2016. She passed away peacefully at Surrey Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was predeceased by her husband Malcolm Epaarachchi, survived by daughters Araliya Wijesinghe (Prabha), Erandi Perera (Manoj), Arosha Anthony (Lalindra) and son Nepalika Epaarachahi (Nilanga), grandchildren Rahul, Tasha, Sachel, Lashan, Ashani, Jude and Gabrielle. <br />Born on June 15th 1943 in Kandy, Sri Lanka, Dawn immigrated to Canada along with her son in 1990 to join her daughters in Surrey, BC. She was in a devastating car accident in 1991 and beat all odds to survive and continued to live a meaningful life. Her will to live and her strength to overcome odds is a true testament to her character. Dawn embraced life and lived it to the fullest, always had a great time and loved dancing and singing. Her infectious smile and zest for life was contagious and brought joy to all who knew her. Children were her priority and what she lived for. Dawn was an incredible, loving, and dedicated mother to all her children, a kind, caring, generous and an amazing grandmother. She will be dearly missed by her family. Viewing will take place on Sunday April 3rd, 2016 between 5-7 pm at Valley View Funeral Home, 14660-72 Ave. Surrey, BC. Catholic Funeral Mass will be held on Monday April 4th, 2016 at 11 a.m. at St. Matthew's R C Parish, 16079 88 Ave, Surrey, BC <br /></div>
