Stefan Werner
January 1, 1929 - March 27, 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather.
He will be remembered by all who knew him for his love of family gatherings, dancing and long walks.
Stefan is survived by his wife of 64 years, Irmgard, son Ronald (Shirley) Werner, daughter Monica (Louis) Gomes.
He will be remembered with love by his 5 grandchildren, Stephanie, Christopher, Matthew, David and Patrick, along with his brother, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
Stefan was predeceased by his brothers Nikolaus and Sigmund.
Stefan's career began in Germany as an accountant, immigrated to Canada in 1952, and began his career as a furniture maker, first working
for Segal Furniture and then moving on to the Hudsons Bay Company, where he retired in 1991.
in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Special Olympics B.C.
